Premier League fixtures 2024-25: Full lists for all 20 teams, best games, key dates

sportsmole.co.uk, 18 June 2024, 11:25
The countdown to the 2024-25 Premier League season is on, with the fresh term kicking off just 90 days after the conclusion of what was an exhilarating 2023-24 campaign.

Manchester City won a record fourth consecutive title last season, finishing two points clear of their nearest challengers Arsenal, who are set to battle Pep Guardiola's relentless outfit for top-flight glory once again.

Liverpool will also be vying to finish top of the pile as they begin a new era under Arne Slot following Jurgen Klopp's departure, while Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester United are among those faced with juggling domestic duties with European football.

Leicester City have returned to the Premier League at the first time of asking after winning the Championship title last season, securing promotion along with Ipswich Town and Southampton.

Ahead of another eagerly-anticipated Premier League season, Sports Mole provides the full fixture lists for all 20 teams, and takes a look at the key dates and best matches ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Best games of 2024-25 Premier League season:

FA Cup winners Man United will welcome Fulham to Old Trafford for the opening game of the new Premier League campaign on August 16, kicking off a first weekend which also sees newly-promoted Ipswich Town - back in the top flight for the first time in 22 years - play host to Liverpool in what will represent Arne Slot's first league game in charge of the Reds.

Champions Man City will begin their quest to win a record-extending fifth consecutive top-flight title at Stamford Bridge where they will do battle with Chelsea, now managed by former Citizens coach Enzo Maresca.

The first major derby of the season takes place on the weekend of September 14, when Tottenham Hotspur play host to North London rivals Arsenal, with the reverse fixture to come in mid-January.

Last season's top two - Man City and Arsenal - will battle it out for the first time on the weekend of September 21 at the Etihad Stadium, before the two title rivals lock horns again at the Emirates Stadium in the first week of February.

A blockbuster battle between arch rivals Man United and Liverpool will be staged at Old Trafford in the final week of August, before the Reds host the return fixture at Anfield in their first game of 2025.

In addition, the first Merseyside derby between Everton and Liverpool takes place on December 7 in what will be the final league game between the two clubs at Goodison Park, before the Toffees move into their new stadium the following season. The reverse fixture at Anfield is scheduled for the first week of April.

Man City and Man United will face off for the first Manchester derby at the Etihad in mid-December, before Old Trafford hosts what could prove to be a pivotal contest between the pair at the top end of the table in April.

The months of December and April will also see Chelsea and Spurs square off in two enticing fixtures, the first to be played at Stamford Bridge in December before the second clash takes place in North London in April.

Meanwhile, newly-promoted duo Leicester City and Ipswich Town face off at the King Power Stadium in the penultimate week of the season in what could turn out to be a battle to avoid relegation.

The final weekend of the 2024-25 campaign will see Man City and Arsenal make the trip to Fulham and Southampton respectively, Liverpool welcome Crystal Palace to Anfield as Man United play host to Aston Villa, while Spurs face Brighton & Hove Albion in North London and Newcastle United take on Everton on home soil.
