Liverpool were taking on Arsenal in April with the Premier League title race blown wide open with an enthralling 2-2 draw.
But Klopp gave fans a moment to remember when Salah had the chance to equalise from the spot when the score was 2-1 to the Gunners.
The German coach could not watch the Egypt international as he placed the ball down, having missed his previous effort following five successful penalties in a row.
And at Anfield, Salah had yet another horror moment as his spot-kick was dragged wide to jeers from the away fans.
But Klopp failed to read the room as he initially celebrated by punching the air.

However, upon turning around, the reality of the situation set in and he could not believe his eyes.
Stalking the touchline, Klopp approached the pitch with his hands out wide in sheer disbelief.
And while Liverpool rued Salah's penalty miss, fans were loving it, calling the Reds boss 'a meme'.
One fan said: "Oh the meme potential is crazy with this one."

However, after Arsenal had raced into a two-goal lead early on, Liverpool did manage to claw it back despite Salah missing.
The former AS Roma star had already scored earlier in the contest to halve the deficit.
Roberto Firmino completed the comeback with an 87th-minute equaliser that sparked Jamie Carragher to exclaim on Sky Sports commentary: "That could have huge repercussions on this title race!"
And so it did, as Arsenal relinquished top spot in the final throes of the Premier League season to allow Manchester City to clamber above them.
The Gunners could not make up that lost ground and Pep Guardiola went on to win his third league title in a row, as well as winning an incredible treble by lifting the FA Cup and Champions League as well.
