The north London side look set for a rebuild ahead of next season under new boss Ange Postecoglou.
talkSPORT revealed earlier in June that Spurs are willing to listen to offers for Hojbjerg, who has been at the club since 2020.
He has made 145 appearances across all competitions for them following his arrival from Southampton.
However, the Danish international could be set for pastures new in the coming weeks.
La Liga giants Atletico are keen on the 27-year-old, although are yet to make a direct approach for him.
