Kostic was up to his old tricks at the weekend, recording his fourth Bundesliga assist of the season with a wicked cross for Tuta to snatch a last-minute 1-1 draw at home to RB Leipzig. It was a result that "felt like a win" according to head coach Oliver Glasner, who is now hoping to carry that momentum into the trip to Greece, where the Eagles can seal their place in the knockout rounds with another victory. Currently top of Group D on seven points after their 3-1 win over Olympiacos two weeks ago, Frankfurt largely have a full squad of players available: Christopher Lenz and Goncalo Paciencia are certain to miss out, while captain and midfield enforcer Sebastian Rode is racing to be fit in time after missing out against Leipzig.

Olympiacos consolidated their place at the top of the Greek Super League on Saturday with a 2-1 away to Panetolikos Agrinio, extending their unbeaten start in the division to eight games. They have won only two of four outings on home turf though, drawing two, but Pedro Martins' charges did post a 2-1 triumph over Antwerp in their only Group D game at the Stadio Georgios Karaiskakis so far, leaving them four points clear of Fenerbahce in third. Youssef El-Arabi is the team's top scorer in the competition with two goals in three games, including his side's goal in Frankfurt in October.

Kostic has had a direct hand in seven of Frankfurt's 15 goals across all competitions this season.

Daichi Kamada scored his seventh Europa League goal in the reverse fixture, which saw him surpass Takumi Minamino as the competition's all-time leading Japanese scorer.

Frankfurt are one of five previous winners competing in this season's Europa League, having won it under its previous guise as the UEFA Cup in 1980.
