The winger is facing an uncertain future this summer with a potential move away from Stamford Bridge on the horizon.
talkSPORT understands the 21-year-old has told the Blues he wants to leave this summer with Southampton said to be keen on signing him on loan.
Newcastle and Leicester have also been previously been linked with a move for Hudson-Odoi.
Hudson-Odoi made his debut in the 2017/18 season and has gone on to make 126 appearances for the Blues since then.
The winger featured heavily for Thomas Tuchel's side during pre-season as well which suggested that he might have a role to play. However, he was then left out of the matchday squad for the Premier League opener against Everton, which Tuchel's men won 1-0.
Hudson-Odoi's exclusion means that the writing may be on the wall for the winger, and according to the ex-Chelsea man, the situation poses a similarity to what Tammy Abraham experienced before his move to Roma.
Taking to social media, Canoville said: "Nah. I don't like seeing that!
"Callum being treated like Tammy. Kid bust a gut working through pre season to be fit again from injury.
"Freezing him out ain't a good look. Nope! Not happy TT [Thomas Tuchel]!"
