The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star signed for Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal in the summer but his debut season was cut short.
During a World Cup qualifying match for Brazil against Uruguay in October, Neymar went down injured and left the pitch in agony.
Al Hilal soon confirmed that he ruptured his ACL and suffered a meniscus tear injury in his knee, signalling a long spell out of action.
Such injuries normally take months to recover from and Neymar could very well miss the rest of the 2023/24 season as a result.
His former Barcelona co-star Lionel Messi sent him a message of support, and the Brazilian is already working towards his return.

In a video on social media, Neymar attended a therapy session and was incredibly emotional as physios worked on his knee.
The pain seemed to be so severe that he could be heard crying whilst on the massage table.
Neymar was then shouting and swearing in another clip on the video as the physios did their best to help with his recovery.
It remains to be seen when the Brazilian superstar will return to the pitch but fans look set to have to wait for a long time until he makes his comeback.
