The Reds' iconic home is undergoing renovations as they look to increase Anfield's capacity from 54,000 to 61,000.
Around 5,200 general admission will be added upon completion, as well as 1,800 seats with 'sports bar lounge/hospitality facilities'.
Liverpool finished the redevelopment of their main stand in 2016, making it one of European football's largest all seater single stands.
Work around the Anfield Road End, which sits to the north-east of the stadium and holds away fans, had already taken place during the season.
But with the campaign now over, new footage from the Liverpool website has shown the impressive progress they have made.

In a time-lapse, cranes can be seen slowly and steadily lifting off the original 282-tonne roof of the stand.
Liverpool say the heavy lifting was performed by two cranes, one that was 600 tonnes and the other 500 tonnes.
They were supported by two 300-tonne cranes, as well as 700 tonnes of ballast to offer stability.
It took 75 skilled engineers who worked day and night a week to complete the historic moment, with the old roof set to be recycled.

Upper level seating will be added to the top of the stand, and work is said to be on course for completion before the start of next season.
