Newcastle v Everton: What has been said?
Mason Holgate has challenged his team-mates to continue to show their quality.
He said: "Ultimately, proving to people on the outside is not going to make the difference. We need to do it ourselves.
"People will say what they want to say. We are not proving our quality for them or to prove a point. We have got to get points on the board. It's simple.
"We know in the changing room and at Finch Farm the quality that we have got. But it's no use saying. It's easy to believe it but it has got to translate into points.
"That is what it is all about. We have got to do it consistently. There is a huge game on Tuesday and we have got to turn it around.
"It's one thing saying we have got quality but it is about winning games. We have got to do that now."
