The England international was on the scoresheet in the opening exchanges against his favourite opponent on Wednesday night.

He nodded home the 11th goal of his career against West Ham after getting on the end of a fine cross from Allan Saint-Maximin.
And to rub salt in the wounds, Wilson raced off to celebrate in front of the West Ham fans at the London Stadium by dancing the Macarena.
It led to some furious reactions from the Hammers faithful but the Newcastle players did not mind as they raced into an early lead against the Premier League strugglers.

And it came about after a fine piece of play from Saint-Maximin, who picked up possession from a Kieran Trippier corner.
Thilo Kehrer was utterly bamboozled as the Frenchman dazzled with his usual box of tricks before swinging the ball into the box.
Wilson, a natural predator in the six-yard box, just had to guide the ball past Lukasz Fabianski to continue his fine scoring run against the Hammers.

And it fulfils a promise that Wilson made to West Ham forward Michail Antonio, who is a close pal of the Newcastle striker, when he told him that he would go ahead with the celebration.
"I love scoring at that place [London Stadium] and I've promised to do the Macarena," Wilson said on the Footballer's Football Podcast. "I want all the bubbles blowing on me while I'm doing it if I score there.
"But maybe I'll have to do it from the bench - I'll be warming up doing the Macarena!"

"I'm going to kick you," laughed Antonio. "I'll be on the bench, but if you're there, I'll come and kick your ankle!"
In his entire career, the 31-year-old has never scored more against a single side than West Ham, who were utterly hopeless as they were thrashed 5-1.
David Moyes is under huge pressure in east London with his side battling relegation.

Joelinton made it 2-0 shortly after Wilson's goal before Kurt Zouma gave the home fans hope by heading in just before the break.
But the Hammers went into self-destruct mode as Nayef Aguerd committed a horror gaffe on the edge of his box that allowed Jacob Murphy to steal in and set up Wilson for his second of the match - and 12th against West Ham.
It was then Fabianski's turn at a howler as he charged out of his box to meekly touch the ball straight to Alexander Isak, who dinked it into an empty goal from 25 yards out.
Joelinton then grabbed his second of the match late on to compound West Ham's misery and leave them 15th in the Premier League table.

However, they only are out of the bottom three on goal difference alone while the Hammers have scored just 15 times this campaign.
Newcastle, meanwhile, have rediscovered their form as they look to make a late push to assure themselves of a top-four spot.
Having beat Manchester United at the weekend, a win tonight will see them go third in the table with nine games left in the season.
