Newcastle given Maguire ultimatum by Man United despite different Aston Villa stance

Leicester had been keen on a move for their former player, however relegation from the Premier League means that's now a non-starter.

Despite the interest, talkSPORT understands that Maguire is reluctant to leave Old Trafford this summer.

The England defender is keen to fight for his place in Erik ten Hag's plans, however the Dutch boss is willing to sanction a move in order to fund moves for other targets.

One of the players on their radar is Napoli defender Kim Min-jae, who is also a target for Newcastle.

The South Korean international has a release clause in his contract worth £42million.
