Messi gushes over Antonela: He records her dancing and the video goes viral

Lionel Messi has shared a video of his partner Antonela Roccuzzo dancing during their holiday in Ibiza.

Many fans love what the video represents because, whilst a lot of footballers can be accused of cheating on their partners and refusing to settle down, Messi has always been devoted to Antonela Roccuzzo.

He posted the video on Instagram and it shows Roccuzzo dancing to a song by David Guetta.

The couple are in Ibiza to celebrate the Paris Saint-Germain forward's 35th birthday before he has to head back to Paris to begin pre-season training.

He has 343 million followers on Instagram which means that the video has been seen far and wide.

Messi's holiday friendships

They are enjoying their holiday with friends, some of whom are former teammates of Messi. Luis Suarez is there with his partner Sofia Balbi, as is Cesc Fabregas with his partner Daniela Seemaan.

Cesc Fabregas was a teammate of Messi at Barcelona between 2011 and 2014. The Spaniard had made the move from Arsenal but he later moved to Chelsea where he made 138 appearances.

Suarez was part of the infamous MSN front three that Barcelona once boasted which contained the Uruguayan striker, Messi and Brazilian forward Neymar.

He spent six years with Barcelona and scored a staggering 147 goals. He was sold to Atletico Madrid in 2020 as Barcelona hit financial trouble, the same trouble that caused Messi to move to PSG.

It was Suarez who got the last laugh as he went on to win LaLiga Santander with Atletico Madrid in the 2020/21 campaign.

The pair will only face each other next season if they are drawn against one another in the Champions League.

Other videos shared by the group on social media have shown that Barcelona forward Ferran Torres is also on the island, having recently been in the Maldives with his girlfriend.
