Mathys Tel in shock U-turn with Bayern forward set for Premier League switch

Mathys Tel is set to join Tottenham on loan - just days after rejecting a move to north London, talkSPORT understands.

Spurs had agreed a permanent transfer for the Bayern Munich forward, only for the 19-year-old to snub a switch on Friday.

But he has now decided to make the move to join Ange Postecoglou's men as he longs for regular game time.

It is believed that Spurs have agreed a straight loan until the end of the season with no buy option.

Tottenham have acted fast to secure his services with Arsenal believed to have opened talks to sign him earlier on deadline day.

Meanwhile Manchester United had two loan bids rejected by Bayern for the versatile winger over the weekend.
