Premier League champions Manchester City will be seeking revenge against rivals Manchester United when they lock horns for the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Citizens became English top-flight champions for an unprecedented fourth successive season in 2023-24, but they were unable to complete a domestic double as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to the Red Devils in the FA Cup final.

Pep Guardiola's side are now bidding to win a seventh Community Shield, while Erik ten Hag is hoping to steer Man United to a record-extending 22nd triumph in the annual English football curtain-raiser.
