This isn't the first time Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag has been interested in him, either, with the Dutch coach first monitoring the 21-year-old Ukrainian during his tenure at Ajax.

The wonderkid winger broke into the Shakhtar first-team in 2018, but after a string of loan spells he's now firing at senior level for his club, already netting eight and recording as many assists in 16 games this season.
Two of those came against Celtic in the Champions League, too, with him scoring in both the home and away fixtures.
Mudryk's talent hasn't gone unnoticed, with Premier League leaders Arsenal understood to have held 'positive talks' over a potential January switch.

But now, the Gunners aren't the only English side battling for his signature.
According to The Sun, Manchester United have also been monitoring the Ukraine international for some time.
Manager Ten Hag is said to have had a long-held interest in him, dating back to his tenure in charge of Ajax prior to his move to Old Trafford.

Shakhtar's sporting director has stated the club would demand £85million for their starlet, though, and it's unlikely the Red Devils will go for him for that price in January given their £229m spending spree in the summer.
However, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has insisted it will likely cost up to £65m to land Mudryk.
Should Man United not be able to add the Ukrainian to their ranks, it's understood they've also been monitoring a former Chelsea target - AC Milan star Rafael Leao.
