Danish striker Rasmus Hojlund has been making waves with club Atalanta, bagging eight goals for the Serie A outfit this season.

According to The Sun, the Red Devils have played Hojlund on their shortlist of strikers ahead of the summer transfer window.
However, Erik ten Hag's side won't have things all their own way with Arsenal and Chelsea also interest, while Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest.

Renowned for his pace, power and lethal finishing, the media in Denmark and Italy have tipped him to follow in the footsteps of City hitman, Haaland.
At 20 years old, Hojlund was handed his senior debut for Denmark last month and bagged a hat-trick, before adding two goals in the following match.
Since then, Scandinavian publisher B.T have reported that United have formally declared their interest, however he is thought to be one of 'three to five' targets on their hitlist.
United are keen to bring in at least one new striker following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo late last year.

While Wout Weghorst was brought in on loan, the club are keen to add an attacker during the summer transfer window who can lead the line for the Red Devils for many years to come.
But with United currently assessing numerous targets, it could pave the way for Arsenal or Chelsea to swoop.
