Manchester United's flight to Newcastle has been cancelled, forcing a late change of travel plans for the Premier League clash on Saturday.
It is understood United had a contingency plan in place due to freezing cold weather conditions across the UK - but 'Plan B' is far from ideal on matchday.
The squad arrived at Manchester Airport at 10am on Saturday morning ahead of an 11am flight.
But the short plane journey was cancelled due to bad weather and technical problems.
Instead, the squad will travel to the North East by bus in a 158-mile trip.
