Job done
That's it, Manchester City are through in the FA Cup.
They join Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Preston in progressing through to the last eight today.
Pep Guardiola's side suffered a shock in the first half after conceding to Plymouth's only shot on goal in the entire game.
But they managed to fight back and the quality was too much for their Championship opponents in the end at the Etihad.
Here are all of today's FA Cup scores:
Crystal Palace 3-1 Millwall
Preston 3-0 Burnley
Bournemouth 1-1 (5-4 pens) Wolves
Manchester City 3-1 Plymouth

GOAL! Man City 3-1 Plymouth: Kevin De Bruyne
That'll do it for Manchester City.
Erling Haaland turns provider for Kevin De Bruyne, passing across goal to give the Belgian a tap-in.
The hosts could have had a lot more but Plymouth have fought very hard to try and stay in this game.
It's painful for Argyle, but they can be proud.

GOAL! Man City 2-1 Plymouth: Nico O'Reilly
MANCHESTER CITY FINALLY LEAD!
It's Nico O'Reilly who scores his second of the game! He heads home at the back post from a corner.
The hosts have completely deserved it, piling pressure onto the Plymouth defence for the entire game.
Erling Haaland and Bernardo Silva both missed from two yards out moments before the goal.
But the Championship side have finally been breached after Man City's 19th corner of this tie.
Less than 15 minutes to go and City lead for the first time.

Inches away
Manchester City should be in front!
Somehow, Erling Haaland has missed a free chance at the back post, firing his first-time effort just over the bar.
That chance came after Plymouth goalkeeper Conor Hazard made a superb save to deny Kevin De Bruyne.
It's all Man City as it has been all game.
But the visitors are still level with 20 minutes to go.

Time for Haaland
Here we go, Erling Haaland is on.
We're heading into the final half an hour and Manchester City are still being held by Plymouth.
But Haaland is going to make a difference.
This is his first cup appearance of the season.
Can he win the game for Man City? He'll certainly cause all sorts of problems for their Championshop opponents.
Plymouth have hardly had a touch and no shots since the break.

Back underway
We're into the second half in Manchester.
Man City will be coming out to dominate just as they did in the first to try and find that second goal.
Going 1-0 down will have been embarrassing, especially when it was the only shot they'd conceded all game.
So they are going to want to kill this tie quickly.
If not, Plymouth remain in with a chance and what a massive upset that would be at the Etihad.
Ruben Dias has replaced Nathan Ake for City.

GOAL! Man City 1-1 Plymouth: Nico O'Reilly
The Plymouth joy is short-lived!
Nico O'Reilly heads in an equaliser for Manchester City.
Kevin De Bruyne whips in a great free-kick and O'Reilly's header is too powerful for Conor Hazard to keep out.
That's the youngster's second FA Cup goal of the season.
And the half-time whistle blows moments later, as Plymouth just couldn't hold on until the break.
City have had 13 shots, 11 corners and 70 per cent of the ball.

GOAL! Man City 0-1 Plymouth: Maksym Talovierov
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!
PLYMOUTH LEAD MANCHESTER CITY!
With their first shot on goal, the Championship strugglers have gone in front at the Etihad Stadium.
Matthew Sorinola's corner finds Maksym Talovierov and the big centre-back heads home with ease.
What a story this is! The away end is bouncing!

Still goalless
Somehow, Man City are yet to score against Plymouth.
Ilkay Gundogan has just struck the post from inside the box as City continue to pile the pressure on.
They've had nine shots in the opening half an hour.
Plymouth haven't had any so far, and they're defending with their backs against the wall.
Every time they get a touch, which is a rare occasion, the away end are chanting 'Ole' for each pass.
They're definitely enjoying themselves at the Etihad!

Bournemouth go through
Wow, what a penalty shootout!
Wolves were within one spot-kick from the win, but Matt Doherty missed to allow Bournemouth another chance.
And the Cherries didn't miss again, with Luis Sinisterra winning it after Boubacar Traore hit the crossbar.
It means Vitor Pereira's side miss out on the quarter-finals while Andoni Iraola's side are in the hat.
What a nightmare for Matheus Cunha, as his red card meant he couldn't take part in the shootout.
He'll also now solely miss Premier League games through suspension after his complete meltdown.

Seeing red
Oh dear, Matheus Cunha.
The Wolves star has just been shown a straight red card for headbutting Milos Kerkez in the 120th minute.
Cunha looks to have completely lost his head, swinging his arms at the defender before butting heads with him.
He then continued to rage after being shown a red, refusing to leave the pitch and arguing with staff members and officials.
The Brazilian will now be suspended for three games.
Penalties are now ongoing to decide who progresses.

Kick-off!
We're underway at the Etihad!
Plymouth, who knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup in the fourth round, now take on Manchester City.
Can they take another monumental scalp?
Managed Miron Muslic told ITV pre-match: "This is the reward from Liverpool and we face the next giant of English football.
"The challenge cannot get bigger!
"It is a huge privilege to face Man City at the Etihad Stadium. It is a fantastic experience to have the Green Wall [Plymouth fans] here.
"We want our team to be brave."

'It's pathetic'
Bournemouth and Wolves are now playing through extra-time after the game finished 1-1 at the Vitality.
So whilst that's ongoing, we'll take a look back to the controversial VAR incident that happened in the first half.
A check for an offside lasted over seven minutes before the Cherries had a goal ruled out by officials.
Veteran commentator Ian Danter, covering the game live for talkSPORT 2, called on the PGMOL to ditch VAR during the check.
"Get rid of it," Danter said. "Get rid of VAR. I don't care who I upset when I say that, but it's got to go from this game.
"It is a useless commodity in the game, adding a layer of subjectivity onto another layer of subjectivity.
"It's pathetic. It's a waste of money. It's part of the PGMOL gravy train to keep people employed who otherwise wouldn't be working on a Saturday afternoon.
"It is about as much use as a broken pencil."
talkSPORT's Adrian Durham also gave some strong opinions on VAR and labelled the incident 'an absolute disgrace'.

Team news!
Manchester City have named a completely changed line-up from their win over Tottenham at the weekend.
All 11 players have been rotated, with Erling Haaland on the bench and Kevin De Bruyne back in the starting team.
Phil Foden looks set to be playing up front for City.
Pep Guardiola has a very, very strong bench to use, so if things get tense, Plymouth will see some incredible talent coming on.

Subs: Ederson, Dias, Marmoush, Haaland, Doku, Gonzalez, Gvardiol, Savinho, Nunes.

Stunning strike
Wolves have a goal back and it's an absolute screamer.
Matheus Cunha continues to carry Vitor Pereira's side and this may be his best goal of the season so far.
The ball drops to him from a long way out, with Bournemouth allowing him to play a one-two and then turn.
He lines up a shot from range and brilliantly fires in a dipping, knuckleball strike, beating Kepa and finding the top corner.
There are 20 minutes to go at the Vitality Stadium.
It's 1-1 between Wolves and Bournemouth.

Mateta's message
Jean-Philippe Mateta has sent a message to fans after his shocking injury this afternoon at Selhurst Park.
Mateta was taken to hospital and given oxygen after being kicked in the head by Millwall goalkeeper Liam Roberts.
Oliver Glasner confirmed the French striker was conscious after the game, and now the player himself has given an update.
He posted on his Instagram story, writing: "Thank you for all your kind messages. I hope to be back very soon.
"Well done guys for the great job today. I love you. JP.

VAR drama
Well, that went on for a very, very long time!
