Man City pre-season: FULL guide from transfers, contracts and friendly fixture dates

Man City pre-season fixtures

Manchester City will be heading to Japan and South Korea this pre-season.

They will face J-League side Yokahama in Tokyo at the Japan National Stadium before facing German giants Bayern Munich at the same venue.

A trip to Seoul, South Korea then follows as the Cityzens come up against Atletico Madrid.

Man City transfers in

Jude Bellingham will be the main talking point of this summer's transfer window with the England midfielder possibly on the move.

Bellingham has been strongly linked the Liverpool but they have now ruled themselves out of the race, with Real Madrid and Man City pushing for his signature.

City have been linked with a move for Bayern midfielder Ryan Gravenberch if they fail to sign Bundesliga rival Bellingham.

Guardiola's side are also reported to be tracking Chelsea man Mateo Kovacic who will be heading into the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge.

Man City transfers out

Joao Cancelo has fallen out of favour this season with Guardiola with the right-back being sent on loan to Bayern in January.

And now Cancelo may be set for a permanent move away this summer with Arsenal looking to add another former Man City player to their ranks.

Bernardo Silva has also been linked with a transfer as Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain look to swoop in for the Portugal international.

Silva is a fan favourite and has remained a key man for the Etihad outfit this season, despite doubts over his future at the club.

Meanwhile, Kalvin Phillips has still not started a Premier League game for Man City since joining last summer and may already be on the move with the club looking at bringing in another midfielder.

Arguably the most crucial business for City this summer is to convince Ilkay Gundogan to sign a new contract at the club.

Gundogan has once again been a key member of Guardiola's side this season, stepping up in recent weeks during the intense title run-in.

However, he is yet to sign a new contract with his deal expiring at the end of the season and concerns are rising over his future.

Scott Carson and Benjamin Mendy are likely to become free agents at the end of their contracts this summer, however, the former is an important member of the dressing room and may be kept around.
