Tony Mowbray's side are now 90 minutes away from a place at Wembley to take a shot at achieving back-to-back promotions and returning to the Premier League for the first time since 2017.
However, the Hatters will be out to end Sunderland's dream and continue their own by using the Kenilworth Road crowd to their advantage.
If Luton come out on top, they will move one game away from reaching the top-flight for the first time in the Premier League era.
