The 36-year-old is currently playing for Brazilian side Gremio, after leaving boyhood club Nacional last December.
Suarez has made 25 appearances for his current club, but has become pretty familiar with the treatment room.
Gremio president, Alberto Guerra, has since revealed the striker is in 'constant pain', and Suarez could hang up his boots for good.
"Luis Suarez is reaching his limit," Guerra said in a video on Twitter.
"To be able to play he is given almost daily injections and special treatments, he feels constant pain. The thing is serious."

Suarez endured problems with his knee and been out of action for 149 days, having previously gone under the knife during his time at Barcelona.
The Uruguayan has found the net 11 times and registered eighth assist, however, for Gremio.
He also scored as the club won the Campeonato Gaucho 2023 title, following a 2-1 aggregate win over Caxias RS.
Suarez previously netted eighth goals in 16 appearances for boyhood club Nacional, before his move to Brazil.

The talismanic forward is primarily known for his spells with Liverpool and Barcelona, where he scored a combined 280 goals in 416 games.
He would then move to Atletico Madrid, helping them to the 2020-21 LaLiga title, before then leaving Europe for good, heading back to his native South America.
