Champions League football is back at St. James' Park and Newcastle put on a show for its first match in 20 years as they blitzed through the French giants.
Miguel Almiron, Dan Burn, Longstaff and Fabian Schar all got on the scoresheet to obliterate PSG 4-1, as Lucas Hernandez grabbed a consolation goal.
Both Burn and Longstaff are local Geordies, adding further frenzy to a crowd that needed no impetus to get carried away.
Mbappe, meanwhile, had a night to forget, failing to truly test Nick Pope and was largely on the peripherals - though Longstaff still admitted he coveted his shirt.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the match, the midfielder said: "I was blocking him from a goal-kick so I tried to get it for my little brother.

Longstaff's little brother will end the night disappointed, though, as Kieran Trippier was seen later on by TNT Sports as the night was coming to a close.
Walking next to the right-back was his young son, who was wearing a PSG shirt.
When they took a closer look at who it as on the back, it was - guess who - Mbappe, revealing that Trippier was the man to leave St. James' Park with the dream shirt.

Before the match had even started, the defender admitted his son only wanted to meet the PSG superstar.
Trippier said on Tuesday: "I was having banter with him (his son) last night.
"He wanted to walk out with him instead of me, it was something I wasn't really happy with. He's always watching his clips on YouTube. I told him, if you walk out with him, don't look at me in the tunnel."
While Mbappe might be one of the biggest names in football, it was Longstaff who outshone him as he grabbed his first Champions League goal.
Just five minutes after half-time with the Magpies already flying at 2-0 up, they came straight out of the traps with real zest once again.
PSG failed to pick up Longstaff, who had the freedom to parade into the visitor's box unmarked before being found by a simple Trippier pass.
The 25-year-old then smashed a shot at goal, going through Gianluigi Donnarumma and into the net to make it 3-0 and spark wild celebrations.
Longstaff added: "It is some night. I think we knew as a group that it was going to be special with the atmosphere and stuff.
