Hello everyone and welcome to this Champions League final live blog, where we will be bringing you all the latest news and updates ahead of the giant clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
The hours are ticking ahead of the biggest match in European club football, and the tension could not be any higher. Paris will host the meeting between the six-time champions and the record 13-time champions.
The Reds enter the game having already wrapped up two pieces of silverware although they narrowly missed out on the Premier League to Manchester City last weekend which could affect their psychology. Los Blancos, on the other hand, having won LaLiga Santander with plenty of games to spare, have had the luxury of being able to rest players ahead of the big duel - so it remains to be seen whether those who have match momentum or those who have fresh legs will have the upper hand in the final.
