Liverpool will be without Naby Keita for the Champions League clash after suffering a hamstring injury which will rule him out.

Thiago Alcantara and Fabinho have returned to training and could feature.

However James Milner and Harvey Elliott are set to miss the contest as long-term absentees.

For Atletico Madrid they'll be without star striker Antoine Griezmann.

The forward was handed a red card in the reverse fixture and will therefore miss the clash at Anfield through suspension, meaning that Luis Suarez could start against his old club.

Elsewhere Marcos Llorente and Thomas Lemar are unlikely to feature for Diego Simeone's side.
