The German international will swap Chelsea for the Gunners in a £65million move.
The move has yet to be officially confirmed by both clubs, but the move is seemingly all done and dusted.
Leaked images earlier this week showed the forward in a new Arsenal shirt.
Now, his first interview as a Gunners player has been posted on social media.
It confirms that he will take the 29 shirt at the north London club, keeping his preferred number.

"The team mentality in the squad is very, very high and you can feel that. I think that was one of the reasons it as so hard to play against Arsenal.
"They have so many talented players and big room to achieve big things."
Havertz will become Arsenal's first signing of the summer following their impressive Premier League campaign.
Although they felt short of the Premier League crown behind Manchester City, Mikel Arteta's side still showed impressive signs of what could come.
Arsenal midfielder Jorginho, who left Chelsea in January, recently hinted that a deal was close to completion.
Havertz now looks set to be officially presented as a new Gunner, moving from one London giant to another.
He will depart Chelsea after three seasons at the club following his move from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020.
Although goals appeared to lack in his debut season, Blues fans will always remember his Champions League final winner against City.
