Kylian Mbappe's mother has confirmed that talks over a contract extension with PSG are underway.
The forward has entered the final 12 months of his deal at the Parc des Princes and was linked with a summer move away.
Real Madrid made several offers for the World Cup winner on deadline day, the last of which came close to £200m.
PSG rebuffed their attempts, meaning they run the risk of losing Mbappe for free in the summer with the 22-year-old free to negotiate a move away in January.
The striker's mother Fayza Lamari, his father Wilfrid Mbappé and lawyer Delphine Verheyden are responsible for his future moves.

PSG added Lionel Messi in the summer and can now boast a frontline featuring the Argentine, Mbappe and Neymar.
Despite that, their French star, now into his fifth season at the Paris club, remains undecided on his future.
What's been said?
Mbappe's mother has told Le Parisien thats talks with PSG are "going well".
The striker has scored 136 goals since moving to the French giants from Monaco following a breakout campaign in 2017.
The Champions League has continued to elude PSG and Mbappe, but he remains committed regardless of his next move.
His mother said: "We are in talks with PSG right now and it's going well. I even spoke to Leonardo last night [Monday]. But will we reach an outcome?
"One thing is sure: he will give his all right up until the end to win the Champions League."
"Kylian needs to feel satisfied. If he's unhappy, he is capable of telling you: 'I'm stopping my career'. And he says that to us often, actually [smiles].
"With Kylian, it can all change from one day to the next."
PSG stance
The club's Qatari owners have pumped money into the club since acquiring it a decade ago.
Mbappe set them back £163m, but this summer they perfectly exercised the free market, adding Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gini Wijnaldum and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG's chief Nasser Al-Khelaifi claimed after the Messi signing that there was no way Mbappe could have any reason to leave.
"I think we have the most competitive team. Now there is no choice for Kylian but to stay here in Paris," he said.
"I think everybody knows the future of Kylian, people from Paris and the players.
"He is a really competitive player. He wants to win, he wants to win trophies, he said it in public.
"He wanted a competitive team and I think we have got the most competitive in the world. So there is no excuse for him now. He can't do anything else but stay."
