For Mbappe, his ruthless nature in front of goal started at an early age.
The forward made his senior debut in December 2015 when he became Monaco's youngest-ever player at the age of 16 years and 347 day.
His first goal came not long after as he scored 27 goals and grabbed 15 assists before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017.
With PSG he scored 256 and assisted 106 times in 308 during his eight years at the club.
Having joined Real Madrid last summer, Mbappe has already scored 23 goals and provided four assists and looks every bit the Galactico that supporters of Los Blancos are hoping for.
His goalscoring exploits have been just as impressive on the international stage too, scoring 48 goals and providing 35 assists in 86 games.
Mbappe's latest contribution was an equaliser in a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid.
That point ensured that Real Madrid retained top spot with Diego Simeone's side just one behind them in LaLiga.
Next up for Los Blancos is a crunch Champions League tie with Manchester City in the play-off round first leg on Tuesday.
