Klopp rubbishes Salah to Saudi Arabia with emphatic response to prospect of Liverpool exit

The Egypt star has been making headlines all over the world amid links with a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.

talkSPORT understands that Al Ittihad made an offer to sign Salah, with the forward set to become the Saudi Pro League's highest-paid player should a move come off.

However as far as Liverpool are concerned, it seems that the deal is a non-starter.

Klopp explained: "It's difficult to talk about media stories as there's nothing to talk about from our point of view.

"Mo Salah is a Liverpool player. There's nothing there. If there was something the answer would be no (he's not for sale)."

"My life philosophy is I think about a problem when I have it. At the moment, there's nothing. I said already if there is something, the answer would be no.

Asked if Salah is fully committed to the club, Klopp said: "100 per cent."

Klopp continued to talk about the challenges that the Saudi Pro League pose to clubs like them, saying: "It's not cool for us, that's clear.

"If we want a player from Wigan, say, we go there and we pay the price. Same in Bundesliga etc. Now there's a next level and it's not great but this is part of the business. Not sure you can change that."
