Liverpool are weighing up a bid for Bukayo Saka as Jurgen Klopp plans an attacking overhaul built around the "exciting" Arsenal star - player Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of.
Saka, 20, has been in brilliant form for the Gunners having already matched his tally of five Premier League goals from last season at the midpoint of the current campaign.
The versatile attacker, who has also contributed four assists, was at his dazzling best with a well-taken double in the 5-0 thrashing of Norwich on Boxing Day.
Despite his tender age, he is one of the first names on the teamsheet under Mikel Arteta and was a member of the England squad which fell agonisingly short at Euro 2020 last summer.
Saka's meteoric rise has not gone unnoticed by Arsenal's rivals, with Liverpool believed to have added him to their shortlist of targets.

Speaking on Reach PLC's The Transfer Window Podcast, Ian McGarry claimed Klopp is plotting a shake-up in his attack, with two forwards likely to make way for a new arrival.
"We have reported on The Transfer Window Podcast that Liverpool are looking to the future with regards to the fact that they expect to sell at least two of their attacking players," McGarry said. "Saka is someone who is a player who suits Liverpool's style."
Saka joined Arsenal's Hale End academy at the age of seven, so it would be a huge decision to leave his boyhood club.
Meanwhile, Arteta would be loath to lose one of his most-important players, whom he has nurtured over the last two years.
McGarry claims the Gunners have already held exploratory talks with Saka's agents to extend his contract, which runs until the summer of 2024.
Nonetheless, the player is said to be 'very interested' in moving to Anfield, where he believes he would be able to compete for the greatest honours.
"My understanding is that there have been talks with his representatives with regards to giving him a contract upgrade at Arsenal," McGarry added.
"Liverpool would provide the opportunity and platform for him to play and compete at the highest level. And that would certainly be something that I'm told he and his representatives are very interested in."
Liverpool's strong interest in Saka comes as no surprise given Klopp's previous comments on the youngster. The Reds boss lauded him as a "young and exciting player" while preparing to host Arsenal in November.
Klopp is part of a growing number who hold Saka in high regard, as Brazil legends Ronaldinho and Rivaldo selected him in their top three for the Kopa Trophy.
