Liverpool saw Luis Diaz's first half goal in their eventual 2-1 loss wrongly ruled out for offside.
Audio released following the error shows the officials for the game failing to communicate that the Colombian was actually onside and allowing the game to continue despite then realising their error.
Now, Klopp has given his reaction after listening back to the discussions between those at Stockley Park and those inside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, stating he believes the game should be played again.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of Liverpool's Europa League clash against Union Saint-Gilloise on Thursday, he said: "The audio didn't change anything because I was not really interested in why things happen. I saw the outcome, I saw a goal, and I saw it didn't count. It's really important that we deal with it in a proper way.
"All the officials didn't do that on purpose and we should not forget that. It was an obvious mistake and I think there would have been solutions for it.

"I think the only outcome should be a replay. That's how it is. The argument against that is then everyone will ask for it."
He continued: "A replay would be the right thing."
But despite believing his side deserve to have a second chance at the fixture following the error that could impact the outcome of their season, Klopp insists he's not angry at the officials.
He continued: "That's my view on it. I'm not angry at anybody. The only thing for human beings in general, no one should go for them, they feel horrible about it at night I'm 100 per cent sure. No one needs further punishment. I'm happy to discuss it but I'm here to prepare a super and important game."

However, he also didn't agree with another decision in the game, Curtis Jones' red card.
The midfielder put in a poor, clumsy challenge that saw his boot go over the ball and plant in Spurs midfielder Yves Bissouma's shin - but Klopp is adamant the VAR review of the initial yellow card was wrong too.
"I stick to the opinion it's not a red card," he said. "The referee was called to the screen to see a frozen picture. I would've given a red card for that but in real time it's not a red card."
"That's how it is. On top of that Jota got two yellows for not touching the player once. I saw a wonderful team fighting about all odds in an incredible [game]. It's not that we stand here with empty hands."
Liverpool are fourth in the league after their loss in north London, one point off Spurs in second and two off top of the table Manchester City.
