Kane role in Tottenham video could be hint over future as club release new kit

Harry Kane played a leading role in Tottenham's kit launch on Thursday despite intense speculation over his future.

Spurs unveiled their new home strip for the 2023/24 season but all eyes were on Kane.

With one year left on his contract, the club's all-time leading goalscorer has been linked with a summer exit after Tottenham's failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Nevertheless, talkSPORT revealed on Wednesday that Kane was expected to feature heavily in promoting Spurs' new kit for the upcoming campaign.

And that proved to be the case, with Kane the only player to appear in the first 20 seconds of the promotional video.

Fans are likely to view Kane's role in the advert as a statement of intent from Tottenham, who have successfully fended off interest in their star striker for years.

talkSPORT understands the north London club are confident Kane will stay despite being at the top of Manchester United's wishlist.

Despite his contract situation, Spurs value the 29-year-old at £130million, but risk losing him for nothing in 2024 if they cannot agree a new deal.
