The popular pundit took it to the next level with a brilliant, yet odd, combo of donning two club shirts as an outfit - including a Newcastle jersey as a skirt!
The brilliant cause has been set up to help fund the Bobby Moore fund in an attempt to tackle bowel cancer.
The campaign has seen football fans across the country wear their favourite football shirt to work on Friday, while donating to Cancer Research UK.
Despite his ties to Crystal Palace, where he spent ten years as the club chairman, Jordan opted against wearing the club's colours, and instead wore the jerseys of Norwich City and Newcastle United.
As Jordan stood up and showed off his 'outfit', host Jim White and guest Martin Keown could not contain their laughter - epitomising every talkSPORT listener and viewer on YouTube who witnessed the colourful display.
'Why?', we hear you ask - well, us here at talkSPORT Towers were definitely in the same boat, with Mr Opinion himself drawing some very puzzled looks from across the office.
And he could not resist a dig at Newcastle and Norwich, poking fun at their relegation flight, as he explained his interesting choice of attire.
"Two potential Championship sides, a little tilt for them," Jordan said, a a wry smile fixed on his face.
"I made an effort," he added, before saying about his 'skirt': "I wanted to wear the Newcastle shirt where I thought it was most appropriate.
"The geography of the shirt is in the appropriate position, as far as I'm concerned."
When asked why he didn't wear a Palace shirt, the club's former chairman insisted it was due to impartiality… before boring the studio and listeners at home with his story about scoring one of the first goals at the new Wembley Stadium.
"It's about being impartial," he said.
"I mean, there's an argument in my school of thought that Palace took the shirt of my back! But I wanted to be impartial and support other things.
"I was going to wear the shirt I wore when I scored the second ever goal at Wembley… but I thought that's too much about me!
"So I dug into the box and thought, 'that's nice, an old Norwich shirt', and then I thought I'd love a Newcastle shirt around my backside.
"But the cause is the most important thing!"
Tell that to the Toon Army, Simon…
