Jack Grealish pays moving tribute to little sister as he meets his No. 1 fan

Manchester City winger Jack Grealish, named in England's World Cup squad for Qatar on Thursday, discussed his 19-year-old sister Hollie's battle with cerebral palsy Jack Grealish with his sister Hollie

England star Jack Grealish paid a moving tribute to his little sister as he met his No. 1 fan.

The £100million Manchester City winger, named in the World Cup squad for Qatar on Thursday, told of 19-year-old sister Hollie's battle with cerebral palsy. "I love her so much," he said in a video. "We are so close. She was born three months premature and they said she would not be able to talk, walk.

"And here we are today, and she can do everything." He spoke as he met his 'No. 1 fan' Finlay, 11, who also has cerebral palsy.

Finlay sent Grealish a letter to express his gratitude, writing: "I wish there were more people in the world just like you who treat people with disabilities the same as anyone else.

"It makes me really happy when I see that you, a famous footballer, knows what it's like to live with people with cerebral palsy. You're my hero and the best big brother to your sister. My dream is to meet you and give you a high five. Imagine meeting your idol!"

Premier League's 'Fan Mail' set up the meeting, with Finlay getting a big hug from his hero - and a signed shirt. Jack told Finlay that he had been moved by his letter, which had made him smile 'from start to finish'.

Finlay also chose Grealish's next goal celebration, 'the worm', a breakdancing move by WWE wrestler Scotty 2 Hotty. After some negotiation, Grealish agreed to do an easier dance when he next finds the net... joking he had only scored once this season.

In the video, viewed 2.3million times, Grealish is seen hugging Finlay, who has a trophy in his hand after winning a tournament at Man City's disability training programme.

Jack reads out Finlay's letter, and composes a reply. Finlay wrote that he was 11 years old and a 'huge Man City and England fan'. He told him: "I have cerebral palsy, and I saw that your sister has cerebral palsy too.

"Are you a good big brother to her? I love the way you are with your sister, you really get it, you always have her there with you, especially when we won the league. Boom!"

He goes on: "My sisters are really good with me but they can be annoying. My mum helps as best she can. But they don't make boots for kids like me with cerebral palsy.

"I ended up kicking my mum in the head, haha. My dad is really good and takes me to Man City to train even though he supports United. He plays with me in the garden.. he never lets me win."

Grealish told him: "You are going to have to invite me down and then we will win." Finlay tells his hero about sometimes getting frustrated in games 'and ending up in goal'".

He adds: "Disability football is my favourite day of the week. But I cannot move as quickly as my brain sees the pass. I don't always get picked because I am slow, and I am put in goal.

"I then get frustrated which means I get angry and lose my temper which means no XBox for a week which means no FIFA. It is my dream to meet you and give you a high five because I cannot do a handshake."

Grealish thanked him for his letter and told him it was 'amazing' to hear he played, adding: "There is no need to get frustrated as long as you play with a smile on your face that is all that matters.

"It means you get to play Fifa as well. My family is always there for me. That helps so much. It sounds like your sisters, mum and dad are the same. Thank you for your kind words about being a good brother to my sister.

"I have enclosed a signed shirt. I hope you like it, best wishes, Jack."

Finlay says: "Cor, that is such a cool letter", and tells him he will put his signed shirt in a frame in his room. Jack jokes: "Remember, I have to score first though", when asked to do the 'worm' goal celebration.
