Inter Milan 'planning January move for Junior Firpo'

Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a January move for Barcelona defender Junior Firpo.

The 24-year-old joined Barca from Real Betis in 2019 and has made 25 appearances for the Catalan giants in all competitions, but he has featured on just two occasions this term.

Both of Firpo's outings this season have come in the Champions League, and he has not played a single minute of La Liga football since Ronald Koeman 's arrival as head coach.

A recent report claimed that Barca were prepared to offload the defender during the January transfer window in order to raise funds for future business.

According to Calciomercato, Inter are keen to sign a new left-back during the winter window and have identified Firpo as a target.

Antonio Conte 's side, who have only won one of their last seven games in all competitions, also allegedly view Chelsea pair Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso as options in that area of the field.
