The Magpies secured their biggest ever away win with an 8-0 thumping of the Blades on Sunday evening.
It's a match that also saw them become the first team in the history of the Premier League to have eight different goal scorers, excluding own-goals.
One of those who found the back of the net at Bramall Lane was Guimaraes, who has been a fan favourite since his arrival last year.
The Brazilian international agreed a new long-term deal with the club last week as he commits to his future at St. James' Park, although there is a reported release clause of around £100million.
Just a day after the news broke he starred for Newcastle in their trip to the Steel City, and sent a defiant message to his adoring fans.
