Since joining the club in 2019, the 31-year-old has made just 72 appearances as fitness problems and a lack of form have stopped him from showing the sort of quality that he displayed during his time with Chelsea.
So far this term, Hazard has started just two matches for the Spanish giants, with his role limited under Carlo Ancelotti.

And the forward admits it is possible he will leave after what has been one of the most disappointing transfers in football history, having joined Real for around £103.5million - rising to just over £140milion - with the anticipation of taking over from Cristiano Ronaldo as their new superstar player.
Hazard told Marca: "In January it is impossible [leaving the club], because I have family and I like the city.
"But in summer it is possible that I go. I have one more year on my contract and it's the club's decision.
"If the club tells me 'Eden, thanks for four years, but you have to go', I have to accept it because it's normal. But I would like to play more, show more that I can play, that I am a good player.

"If Real Madrid tells me in the summer that I have to leave, I will accept it".
Asked about reports linking him with a return to Stamford Bridge this summer, Hazard responded: "Chelsea? I was never close to returning or to leave Real Madrid in general.
"Chelsea have never called me.
