The former Tottenham captain opened the scoring against SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga to end his woes in front of goal.
Kane scored 15 minutes into play after former Spurs teammate Eric Dier found him on the edge of the box.
Kane spun past the defenders to whip the ball past Freiburg's Noah Atubolu in goal before hitting his signature celebration.
It made it 17 goals and six assists for Kane in the Bundesliga this season.
But it comes after Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl was asked directly about Kane's lack of goals from open play before the match.

The 31-year-old has only scored from the spot since November 22, when he completed a hat-trick by scoring two penalties and an open play goal.
Eberl said: "Harry is the least of my worries. When you have a young player, you might worry more, but Harry Kane has had so many highs and also some lows.
"So if anyone can cope and deal with it, it's Harry Kane" he added.
"He hasn't scored from open play for a long time, but he also was injured. Of course, we need his goals.

"He knows that and is probably the one who is most critical of himself. But I don't think it's causing a mental problem for Harry."
Kane was sidelined for four matches in December after picking up a muscle injury during Bayern's 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund.
The German champions struggled without their star striker, losing two of those games.
Since his arrival from Tottenham in 2023, Kane has been a prolific force, netting an impressive 66 goals in 69 appearances.
Bayern currently sit four points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and are set to face Freiburg away on Saturday.
Next Wednesday, they'll take on Slovan Bratislava at home in a crucial clash, aiming to secure a spot in the Champions League knockout stages without resorting to February's play-offs.
Bayern Munich are currently top of the Bundesliga, with Kane seeking his first title on German soil after missing out to Xabi Alonso's Bayer Leverkusen.
Leverkusen are in second, four points behind leaders Bayern Munich.
