During last summer's Euro 2020 tournament, England fans thrived off being able to watch hilarious behind the scenes clips of their side through the national team's official channels.
And Monday's upload - which showed the players completing a training drill ahead of their upcoming Nations League games - certainly didn't disappoint.
West Ham star Rice and Wolves defender Conor Coady were placed in the centre of a rondo drill, tasked with winning possession back off the Three Lions stars surrounding them in a circle.
But the likes of Phil Foden, Jarrod Bowen, Mason Mount and Jack Grealish were too good for the pair, with Rice and Coady unable to get the ball off their hyped-up teammates.
And it was Grealish, in particular, who robbed Rice of a golden last ditch opportunity to get control, passing the ball just out of reach of the Hammers' star, that got him spinning.
Reacting to the clip of his nicked pass to Mount that left Rice short, Grealish simply tweeted a shocked face emoji.
And, Rice, as always, took it well and was gracious in defeat.
Suffering from a bad case of autocorrect, Rice replied "absolute washing mashing in the middle."
At least Rice will be well-drilled for his midfield battles against Hungary this weekend!
talkSPORT will have full coverage from 4pm on Saturday with kick-off at the Puskas Arena set for 5pm UK time.
