The match between Bursaspor and Diyarbekirspor saw five players sent off as punches and kicks were thrown after a 2-0 win for the away side.
Bursaspor were in the Europa League as recently as 2014, and in the 2010/11 season they even played in Manchester United's Champions League group.
However, the Bursa-based team have since been relegated, and now sit rock bottom of the second tier, heading towards the third.
So when Diyarbekirspor over-celebrated their second goal in front of the home fans at the crocodile-styled Bursa Timsah Arena, things spiralled out of control.
Players clashed after Bunyamin Yurur's 2-0 goal in the 82nd minute, and then when the full-time whistle blew, the confrontations got violent with one player filmed doing a karate-style kick on an opposition substitute.
