It has been an unhappy season for the Blues, who find themselves 11th in the Premier League and have zero wins from their last five matches.

Frank Lampard's reintroduction as Chelsea boss has proved disastrous but across town, Arsenal have had their own bad spell.
The Gunners still top the Premier League but are without a win in four matches, the last being a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of second-placed Manchester City, who moved within two points with two games in hand.
It means that Pep Guardiola's men are now the favourites to go on and clinch a fifth title in six years despite Mikel Arteta leading the charge for much of the season.

And while it has been a shocking season for Chelsea, they can further derail their rivals with a statement performance against Arsenal on Tuesday night.
That might look unlikely considering the crisis that Lampard finds his side in but they can take heart in a similar situation that arose in 2016 when Tottenham came to west London.
On that occasion, billed famously as 'The Battle of the Bridge', Spurs relinquished a 2-0 lead that saw them crash out of the title race and hand the league to Leicester in awe-inspiring circumstances.

Chelsea were in the midst of another shock season that eventually saw them finish 10th but the highlights of their campaign proved to be a stunning goal from Eden Hazard that ended Tottenham's title bid.
Fans have been re-sharing the goal on social media and have been hoping for a similar result when Chelsea travel to the Emirates on Tuesday night.
One fan wrote on social media, alluding Hazard's goal against Crystal Palace that handed Chelsea the title in 2015: "Eden Hazard is the only player in history to score two premier league title-deciding goals."

Another posted: "Chelsea will beat Arsenal. Like Hazard did for Tottenham that time."
And a third fan replied: "I need Eden Hazard back…"
Hazard spent seven years at Chelsea after signing for them in 2012, after they won the Champions League for the first time.

He made 352 appearances for the club, scoring 110 times and is often denoted as one of their best players in the Premier League era.
However, the Belgian's career nosedived after he landed his dream move to Real Madrid in 2019, just after Chelsea won the Europa League against Arsenal.
A series of unfortunate injuries have marred his time at the Bernabeu and he has been unable to replicate his form seen in England.

In four years, Hazard has scored just seven times in 75 appearances and has played just five La Liga matches this season.
