The Euro 2024 qualifier at Hampden Park was suspended less than ten minutes after it kicked off with the home side 1-0 up.
Both sets of players struggled to pass the ball around the pitch due to the torrential downpour pre-match and referee Istvan Vad's decision to summon them off was no surprise.
But after huge efforts to get the rain off the pitch and much toing and froing the match resumed almost 90 minutes after it was suspended.
Things got a little heated down the tunnel with Steve Clarke's men keen to finish the match on the night, while the visitors were considerably less enthusiastic and even refused to make their way back on the pitch when it was decided play would resume.
The Tartan Army inside the ground booed the Georgia players onto the pitch and in the early stages of the restart.
