And it's not long until the 35-year-old could have a piece of home with him Down Under, with old club Manchester United set to pay him a visit.
The Australian A-League side are due to face the Red Devils this Friday as part of United's pre-season tour.
Man United kick off their pre-season campaign against Liverpool in Bangkok, Thailand, on Tuesday, before flying to Australia for matches in Melbourne and Perth.
And Nani could make his debut for his new side against the club where he made a name for himself, when United come to town.
The winger left Old Trafford back in 2015 after eight seasons, winning four Premier League titles, two League Cups and a Champions League during his time there.
But whilst reuniting with his former club will no doubt feel special, they'll be missing one component - Cristiano Ronaldo.
United talisman's is missing pre-season due to 'family issues' and has been granted additional time off.
There have also been rumours that Ronaldo wants out of Old Trafford in search of trophies and Champions League football as he begins to wind down his historic career.
This means Nani won't reunite with his ex-Portugal teammate and former housemate this summer.
But whilst he'll be missing out on seeing his fellow countryman, Nani is focused on his new opportunity ahead.
"I'm excited to be coming to the A-League with Melbourne Victory and I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead," he said.
"I have spoken with the coach, Tony [Popovic - the former Australia and Crystal Palace defender] and I know that Melbourne Victory is a club that wants to achieve success.
"I want to play a role in helping the team achieve that.
"From what I have seen, the fans in Melbourne are not only the best in the league but they rival the atmosphere in Europe.
"I'm looking forward to being a part of that on the field in a Victory shirt and playing for them this season."
