The former midfielder will be hoping his daughter, Amber, has fonder memories on the Spanish island.
That's because she is reportedly heading there to appear on the latest series of Love Island - following in the footsteps of Michael Owen's daughter Gemma last year.
Back in 1999, Wise was accused of biting Real Mallorca centre-back Elena Marcelino after a tangle at Stamford Bridge in the first leg of a European Cup Winners' Cup semi-final.
At the time, the former Chelsea man said: "I didn't bite him. There was no complaint from anyone.
"The TV showed me gesturing to bite him and obviously everyone has jumped on the bandwagon and said that I bit him."

He escaped any UEFA punishment, but the Mallorca fans did not let him forget it on his trip to the Spanish island for the second leg.
Fans held up a sign that read: "Dennis Wise Cannibal."
In true Dennis Wise style, he had something truly great planned if he had scored.
He wrote in his autobiography: "We had a great celebration planned if I scored, and in the last minute I thought I was going to do just that when I went to meet Franco Zola's cross. But I headed it too deliberately and wide.

The former Wimbledon and Chelsea midfielder truly lived up to his reputation as one of the dirtiest footballers to play the game.
Mallorca may not have too many happy memories for Wise, but there will be some new ones for his family starting in Casa Amor on Friday night.
