Deco's influence 'could help' Barcelona beat Real Madrid, Arsenal to Brazilian wonderkid

The 19-year-old has scored once and provided two assists in 44 first-team appearances for Corinthians, and he is believed to be on the radar of a number of European clubs due to his strong performances.

Arsenal, are said to be keen on the teenager, while Fulham have also been credited with an interest, with Corinthians facing a major battle when it comes to keeping hold of the youngster beyond the middle of 2025.

According to journalist Ekrem Konur, Real Madrid and Barcelona have both scouted Bidon on numerous occasions this season, with the two giants of Spanish football very much in the mix for his signature.

Real Madrid, Barcelona 'join the race' for Bidon

Konur also mentions interest from Arsenal, in addition to AC Milan, with Bidon seemingly set to have the choice of a number of major clubs next summer due to his impressive form in Brazilian football.

According to Barcelona Universal, Bidon is valued in the region of €8m (£6.6m), with Barcelona closely following his performances since he helped Corinthians win the Copa Sao Paulo de Futebol Junior earlier this year.

However, there is said to be a €100m (£82.9m) release clause in his current deal, placing Corinthians in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations with European clubs.

Bidon primarily operates as a central midfielder, but he is also capable of playing as a number six and a number 10, with his versatility said to make him even more attractive to interested clubs.

Deco 'could help' Barcelona land Bidon

Barcelona sporting director Deco's strong relationship with Corinthians has allegedly placed the Catalan giants in a strong position when it comes to potentially winning the race for the midfielder's signature.

Deco came through the youth system at Corinthians before starting his professional career with the Brazilian outfit, and he is said to have a strong relationship with senior figures at Arena Corinthians.

The Brazilian side will understandably be determined to retain Bidon, but it will be very difficult to keep him on a long-term basis due to the growing interest in his services, with Barcelona and Real Madrid now in the mix.

Barcelona allegedly believe that he could develop into a left-sided forward due to his unique skillset, and he would initially represent Barcelona Atletic if he did join the Catalan side.

Hansi Flick's team have also allegedly secured a deal for Jonathan Tah, with the Bayer Leverkusen defender set to move to Camp Nou on a free transfer at the end of the campaign.
