Dallas players line up on pitch for selfies with Lionel Messi at full-time

Following Inter Miami's 4-4 draw and subsequent penalty shootout win in the Leagues Cup, Dallas' stars put the loss aside and all flocked towards the 2022 World Cup winner.

TV footage shows a number of players wasting no time in approaching Messi for a photo straight after the full-time whistle.

The Argentine happily obliged, but looked rather stunning as his post-match handshakes turned into posing with each of the Dallas stars.

At this point the MLS players were almost forming a queue on the pitch to grab a snap.

But, who can blame them, given just how good Messi has been since he landed on the east coast.

The Argentine put on another show in the Leagues Cup last-16 fixture.

As well as opening the scoring in the sixth minute, he stole headlines again when he scored a late equaliser through a glorious free-kick and ultimately helping to keep his side in the competition.

Miami ended up winning the game on penalties, with Messi netting one of them.

The Barcelona legend now has an impressive seven goals in just four Leagues Cup games, including his two against FC Dallas.
