Cristiano Ronaldo claims he is "very happy with his form" despite recently enduring a six-game goalless run.
The Manchester United No.7 hadn't scored in 2022 until he netted against Brighton recently, but that remains his only goal since the New Year.
It is an unusually low return for a player whose numbers have been astronomical for well over a decade.
All in all Ronaldo, since making a sensational return in the summer, has scored 15 times in 29 outings for the Red Devils.
The Portuguese star has continued to evolve his game, transitioning from a winger to a No.9, and believes he has to be intelligent about how he plays his football, whilst underlining his achievements.
"You have to be intelligent and know that at 18, 20 or 25 you are not the same as at 35," Ronaldo told DAZN.

"That is the maturity, the experience, the intelligence to understand that maybe you lose some things to win others and have balance right to keep competing and be at the highest level.
"That's not easy, but it seems like it to me, because I show year after year that the numbers speak for themselves.
"I don't have to tell you that I'm very good, because the numbers are there. The facts are facts, the rest is not. It doesn't matter at all.
"That's why I'm very happy with my form, I'm still scoring goals, helping people, teams, both in the national team and at Manchester United and that's why I want to continue like this."
United could still miss out on the top four despite bolstering their options in the summer with the arrival of Ronaldo.
Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane also joined him at Old Trafford but poor results and form eventually saw Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacked.
Ralf Rangnick is now in interim charge in Manchester and reports claim Ronaldo has asked the German to tweak things in order to get the best out of him.
The Athletic claims the 37-year-old attended a meeting with Rangnick after the draw with Southampton.
Ronaldo suggested United should play two in attack so that he could have a partner who could provide support to him - which has been done this year by Solskjaer before his sacking.
The interim boss has continued to play with a single central point of attack however, which saw Ronaldo cut a frustrated figure in the midweek draw at Atletico Madrid.
