Rodgers rested most of his first-choice players for the 5-0 win over Raith Rovers in the Scottish Cup at the weekend, with all eyes being on this game since they sealed their spot in the playoffs last month.

Daizen Maeda scored a hat trick against Raith, but will be suspended after his straight red card late on in the matchday seven win over Young Boys.

That is the only key absentee for Celtic though, who will still be able to name a strong XI for their first knockout tie in the competition in 12 years.

With Jota still rebuilding his fitness after so long in the wilderness, South Korean Yang Hyun-jun will be the most likely deputy for the suspended Maeda.

Adam Idah should come back into the side after a brace against Aston Villa which has contributed to four goals in his last three following Kyogo Furuhashi's departure to Rennes, while the Celtic striker also had a big hand in the own goal that saw them beat Young Boys.

The most surprising starter at the weekend was former Bayern boy Nicolas Kuhn, who played 65 minutes against Raith, but as one of the stars of their European campaign so far, the German should start again.

Crystal Palace loanee Jeff Schlupp was handed his full debut by Rodgers at the weekend and will battle for a start with Greg Taylor, but despite winning 5-0, it came at a slight cost, with Paulo Bernardo being forced off in the first half due to injury.

The Portuguese midfielder is set to join James Forrest on the sidelines here, but neither have been regulars in the team during their Champions League campaign.
