Jamie Carragher has opposed Gary Neville 's stance with his verdict on Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman.
The Liverpool legend says Koeman "needs" to be replaced in the Camp Nou hot seat, coming just days after former Manchester United captain Neville reaffirmed that he did not call for bosses to lose their jobs, having done so himself at Valencia in Spain.
Carragher, on punditry duty for CBS Sports, was asked by Kate Abdo whether Barca would make it out of the Champions League group stage, having lost their opening to matches.
The ex- England defender responded: "No, [they are] not good enough and they need to change the manager."
Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards and Arsenal icon Thierry Henry, who spent three years in Catalonia, also agreed that the Blaugrana would not reach the knockout stages.

But Neville's comments, made when facing criticism for his perceived lack of criticism for United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, show that Carragher has a different line of thinking as a pundit.
It was only in March when the Anfield stalwart called Neville out on Twitter after Salford City, co-owned by the ex-Red Devil and his Class of '92 team-mates, sacked manager Richie Wellens following just four months in charge.
Carragher pointed out that Neville once argued that bosses require two to three years to build a team, with the former Liverpool man citing his fellow Sky Sports pundit's decision not to say David Moyes should be sacked by United in 2014.
Fast forward seven years and another one-time Everton manager's future is in the spotlight.
Barcelona came from behind to record a 3-1 victory over Valencia in La Liga on Sunday, just their second win in seven games.

The Dutchman, who is reportedly still in his post partially due to Barca's well-documented financial woes and likely cost of his sacking, says "there is no other option" but to claim three points.

Speaking on Tuesday, he told reporters at his pre-match press conference: "Tomorrow, we are playing for our future in this Champions League.
"After losing two games, we have to win to have a chance of going through."
Koeman went on to say: "It's a decisive game.
"We have to win to have the option of getting through the group.
"It depends on circumstances and where the team is, but it's normal [of Barca fans] to demand the quarter finals, semi finals or the finals.
"It's not the moment to think about this. The first step is the game tomorrow."
