Arsenal will be aiming to start 2025 on a positive note as they travel to the Gtech Community Stadium to battle against Brentford on New Year's Day.

The Gunners concluded their 2024 schedule with three straight wins across the Premier League and EFL Cup, including a narrow success over Ipswich Town at the Emirates last Friday night.

After netting eight goals across a pair of contests with Crystal Palace prior to the visit of the Tractor Boys, Arsenal could only breach the net of the East Anglians once in North London courtesy of Kai Havertz.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their clash with Brentford, who are looking to return to winning ways following a draw at Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night.

Bukayo Saka

Status: Out

Type of injury: Hamstring

Possible return date: Unknown

Speaking after the narrow win over Ipswich on Friday, Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta confirmed that Saka had undergone surgery on a hamstring injury sustained during the 5-1 win over Crystal Palace earlier this month, with the England international set to miss at least two months of action.

Raheem Sterling

Status: Out

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: January 4 (vs. Brighton)

Sterling was facing many weeks on the sidelines after sustaining a knee issue just before Christmas, however Arteta has since provided a promising update, with the Chelsea loanee's injury healing quicker than expected, meaning that he could feature in early January for the Gunners.

Ben White

Status: Out

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: March 8 (vs. Manchester United)

White has been ruled out until at least the early part of Spring following surgery on his knee in November, with the defender unable to play through the pain of the recurring issue.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out

Type of injury: Knee

Possible return date: Unknown

Tomiyasu has managed just six minutes of Premier League action this season due to a knee issue, and the Japan international is currently enjoying a change of scenery as he looks to take a different approach towards his recovery.
