A Selecao have been ruthless with their world-class squad and fluid formation leading to relentless performances.

A loss to Cameroon when their progress from the group stage was already secured was only their second defeat since 2019.
It has led to claims that the true Joga Bonito is back and the man who has helped build this spectacular squad and put together this run of form is Tite.
Who is Tite?

Tite is a 61-year-old head coach who has played and managed in Brazil for almost his entire career in football.
His playing career spanned 22 years, with the majority of his games at Caxias who now play in the fourth tier of the Brazilian football league.
He never made an international appearance before then heading straight into management, taking charge of Caxias on three separate spells.
Tite managed ten different teams in Brazil in total while having a couple of years in Abu Dhabi in charge of Al Ain and Al Wahda.

The longest he ever spent in a job before taking over Brazil was three years.
He would experience a successful spell at Corinthians from 2014, winning the Brazilian Serie A before the national team came knocking.
Replacing Dunga, Tite became Brazil manager in 2016 and he has remained as boss ever since.

When his appointment was announced, he said: "Now the time has come, I understood that I should accept being coach of the Brazilian national team and that should be part of my career.
"It's a personal goal and perhaps my best professional moment."
He led A Selecao to the quarter-finals of the 2018 World Cup before signing a new contract as boss after their elimination.

That deal runs out after this year's tournament and Tite reportedly intends to step down as Brazil manager once their games are over.
He might have that in the back of his mind as he enjoys himself in Qatar, doing the pigeon dance with Richarlison after his goal against South Korea.
If Brazil do go on to win the World Cup, it would be a perfect end to his time in charge after dedicating the majority of his career to the domestic game.
