Bafana Bafana always make us proud... in friendlies - Twitter reacts

Bafana Bafana beat Mali 2-1 at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to give new coach Molefi Ntseki an encouraging start to his international coaching career.

The match does not count for any official competition but Port Elizabeth came alive watching their national team in action.

We can take a look at how the fans celebrated an exciting encounter, thanks to Twitter videos posted by the official Bafana Bafana account.

There are also social media reaction from the fans and key members of South African football, including Golden Arrows coach Steve Komphela.

We can't have a South African Twitter reaction without local humour, as the fans pointed out Bafana only impress in friendlies. Others were impressed with the level of football on display by both teams on Sunday.
